FAR AS THE EYE CAN SEE
BASED ON THE NOVEL BY ROBERT BAUSCH

Six Films has optioned the rights to and is currently developing a feature length adaptation of Robert Bausch’s Great Sioux War epic, FAR AS THE EYE CAN SEE (pub. Bloomsbury, 2014).

Set in 1876, Far As The Eye Can See tells the story of Union veteran and serial deserter, Bobby Hale, who strikes out across the heart of America hoping to find the peace that has eluded him since the end of the American Civil War almost a decade before. Journeying into a West that has been forged on the back of the persecution of its indigenous peoples and the exploitation of its natural resources, Bobby quickly makes an enemy of both the Army and the Lakota, and must do everything in his power to save himself.
